Puig De La Sardina

Puig de la Sardina is a local dive site off the Catalan coast near Torroella de Montgrí. The site features shallow, gently sloping bottoms with rocky outcrops and sandy patches. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, with divers often starting from boat or shore depending on conditions. Typical visibility varies with currents and seasons. The area lies within the Western Mediterranean’s typical marine environment, where divers may encounter a range of species common to the Catalan coast, such as groupers, moray eels, octopus, small pelagics, and resident wrasses and damselfish near rocky ledges and Posidonia meadows.
