Port Haliguen
Plage Du Conguel
Plage du Conguel is a sandy shoreline dive site on the Quiberon Peninsula, known for easy access and calm conditions suitable for beginners and refresher dives. The area features a gentle sloping bottom transitioning from sand to patches of rocky outcrops and seagrass beds, typical of western French coastal waters. Expect clear visibility in good weather, with mild to moderate currents near the entrance to deeper waters. Common Western European coastal life such as wrasse, gobies, blennies, octopus and small crustaceans may be observed around rocks and seagrass, while larger pelagic sightings are uncommon. Access is straightforward from the adjacent beach, and shore entries are common during calm tides.
