Palm-Mar Wall / Bufadero is a sheltered coastal site on Tenerife’s southern shore, reached from Palm-Mar and nearby towns within a short drive. The wall features a vertical drop from the shallow plateau, starting around a few meters and extending to deeper sections typical of coastal Tenerife dives. The area offers clear Atlantic conditions with moderate visibility and gentle to moderate currents, suitable for intermediate dives with proper buoyancy control. The dive profile often includes wall stops with views of hard corals, gorgonids, and a mix of endemic Canary Islands species such as breams and wrasse, plus typical reef invertebrates. TheBufadero area to the south provides a zigzag depressions and swim-throughs where sand and rock meet, hosting crabs and small pelagics on calm days. Access is straightforward from local centers, with nearby towns such as Los Cristianos and Arona providing dive shops and services.
