Numazu

Osezaki

Osezaki is a coastal dive site in central Japan known for its rugged rocky seabed, clear water and diverse shore diving opportunities. The site typically features sloping reefs and small swim-throughs with easy entry from the rocky shore. Depths commonly range from shallow on the surge-swept shelf to around 20 meters, making it accessible for recreational divers. Expect a mix of juvenile reef fish, wrasses, damselfish and occasional larger species attracted to the area’s kelp and rocky habitats. Visibility can vary with currents and weather, so planning around local conditions is advised. The site is a popular stop for local dive boats operating out of Numazu and nearby Izu communities.
