Odysseus Path

Odysseus Path is a reef-dominated site off the southern coast near Plakias. The dive typically starts from a sandy to rocky seabed and progresses along a shallow reef crest that drops into vertical ledges. Expect clear to moderate visibility and Mediterranean marine life typical of Crete’s southern coast, including groupers, octopus, moray eels, and diverse damselfish around sheltering rocks. The site is suitable for drift or wall-oriented dives depending on current, with straightforward navigation along the structure. Entry is from a shore-access point or small boat drop nearby, and conditions are generally calm in good weather.
