Northwest Double Ledges

Northwest Double Ledges is a shallow, coastal reef dive site suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Located offshore near Palm Beach Shores, the site features a pair of shallow ledges with varied structure, including small overhangs and crevices that host common tropical reef life. Expect calm conditions in protected areas, with gentle currents and clear to moderately clear water typical of the region. Typical inhabitants include damselfish, parrotfish, angelfish, snappers, and occasional juvenile reef species; larger pelagic encounters are less common but possible on driftier days. Access is straightforward from beach entries or small nearby piers, making it a convenient option for a half-day dive plan.
