Mortoriotto

Mortoriotto is a coastal dive site off Sardinia, characterized by shallow to mid-depth reefs and rocky bottoms typical of the Mediterranean. Access is straightforward from nearby resort areas, with calm conditions common in clear water during summer months. The site usually features rocky slopes and small ledges providing shelter for a range of Mediterranean fauna, including groupers, wrasse, octopus, and parrotfish, with posidonia meadows nearby. Currents are generally mild, suited to recreational divers with basic training. The area lies close to Figari/Golfo Aranci and Capo Ferro, offering easy long-range access from local towns and dive centers.
