Mmad Beach

Mmad Beach is a coastal dive site near Paralimni on the southeastern coast of Cyprus. The site lies offshore of a sandy to gently shelving seabed and features typical Mediterranean coastal habitats. Access is usually via boat from nearby harbors, with entry from a sandy bottom and moderate currents possible depending on conditions. Expect clear to moderate visibility and a shallow to mid-depth profile suitable for recreational divers. Common marine life in the area includes damselfish, wrasses, parrotfish, and other small Mediterranean reef-associated species, with occasional larger pelagic activity on calmer days. This site is well-suited for relaxed introductory dives as well as more oriented sightseeing dives along the drop-offs that characterize the local seabed.
