Dauin
Mayongtubig Pier
Mayongtubig pier is a shallow, coastal dive site accessed from a local pier adjacent to the village shoreline. Dives typically explore calm, near-surface waters with gentle entries from the concrete structure. The site offers macro opportunities among pilings and artificial substrates where small reef fishes, gobies, and blennies may be seen around the pilings. Visibility can vary with wind and tides, and currents are usually minimal in this protected area, making it suitable for drifting practice and easy training dives near the shore. Nearby towns such as Zamboanguita, Dauin, and Bacong provide additional dive options and access points to broader diving areas along Negros Oriental’s coast.
