Marcos cave is a shallow to mid-depth coastal site near Puerto Galera, set along a rocky reef with a shallow cave and a small overhang. Access is straightforward from the shore, with entry possible from a sandy bottom and a gentle slope. The site features a swim-through cave at mild depths, attractive for reef life and macro possibilities. Typical visibility is good in clear conditions, and the dive is suitable for recreational divers with basic to intermediate experience. Expect common tropical species such as damselfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and sergeant majors, along with occasional small pelagics near the cave entrance. Currents are usually light, making this a relaxed, site-first dive with emphasis on the cave structure and surrounding reef.
