Leslie’s Curl

Leslie’s Curl is a shallow, local dive site near the North Side area, suitable for entry-level divers and quick in-and-out dives. The site typically features a gentle seabed with scattered reef formation and scattered rocks that create modest drop-offs. Access is straightforward from nearby shore or boat entries, and conditions are often calm with light to moderate seas. Expect common Western Atlantic/Mississippi region coastal life such as small reef fish, blennies, gobies, damselfish, and occasional moray eels around rocky outcrops. It serves well for practice sessions, buoyancy work, and short recreational dives close to town, rather than a long-range destination site.
