Les Tinyes

Les Tinyes is a local Mediterranean dive site near Banyuls-sur-Mer, just a short distance from Cerbère and Portbou. It features a rocky seabed with moderate relief and clear water typical of the northern Catalan coast. The site is accessible to recreational divers and is commonly explored for its simple entry from the coast, gentle slope, and short swims to nearby rocky structures. Expect a typical Western Mediterranean assemblage, including groupers, breams, wrasses, moray eels, and octopus, with seagrass meadows and scattered rocky outcrops. Conditions are generally calm in good weather, with visibility that can vary seasonally. This site is suitable for drift or wall-style exploration when currents are present but is commonly approached at a relaxed pace by local divers.
