Le Clocher

LE CLOCHER is a shallow rocky reef site near Corsica’s northwest coast. Access is straightforward from nearby coastal towns, with gently sloping sand and an outer ridge forming a series of sheltered troughs. Typical conditions are calm, clear water with good visibility in light winds. Depths commonly range from a few meters to around 12–15 meters, making it suitable for novice divers and training dives as well as relaxed recreational dives. Expect Mediterranean reef life such as groupers, wrasses, damselfish, octopus and moray eels, along with posidonia meadows in the surrounding seafloor habitats. The site is often chosen for easy navigation and a relaxed profile, with entry from the small beach or rocky shore and a short swim to the main reef plateau.
