Las Anclas

Las Anclas is a shallow coastal dive site near Palamós and the Costa Brava in northern Spain. It typically features a rocky seabed with gentle slopes and moderate to good visibility in calm conditions. Access is straightforward from the nearby towns, making it a convenient option for a relaxed dive day. Common Western Mediterranean species—groupers, moray eels, octopus, and various damselfish—are typical around rocky outcrops and small caves. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and often used for training dives, surface intervals, and short exploration runs along the submerged rocks.
