East Honolulu
Landing Craft Utility (Wreck)
Landing Craft Utility (Wreck) is a coastal wreck dive in a tropical marine environment. The site features a World War II era landing craft resting on a sandy bottom with moderate to good visibility typical of nearshore Hawaiian waters. Expect a straightforward penetration or exterior exploration depending on conditions and access, with the hull providing a swim-through opportunity rather than a full interior dive. Common reef fishes, occasional goats and eagle rays, and mixed invertebrate life may be observed around the wreck and nearby rubble fields. Currents can be variable; choose appropriate experience level and follow local guidelines. Access is convenient from nearby beaches and urban centers within a short drive.
