La Grande Huppée

La grande huppée is a shallow rocky-reef dive site off the Brittany coast near Saint-Lunaire. Typical depths range from a few metres to around 15 metres, with sloping beds and small crevices offering easy navigation for beginners or a relaxed second dive. The site is known for its clear water and relatively calm conditions in good weather, making it suitable for drift-free immersion near the coast. Expect common Western European coastal fauna such as wrasses, gobies, blennies, and small crustaceans, with occasional schooling fish around the rocky outcrops. Access is straightforward from local beaches or boat departures nearby, and the proximity to Saint-Lunaire, Dinard, and Saint-Malo provides convenient options for planning a coastal dive trip.
