La Caye Des Boucaniers

La Caye des Boucaniers is a reef-dominated dive site located off the coast near Le Marin, Sainte-Anne and Rivière-Pilote. The area features typical Caribbean reef topography with healthy corals, sponges and a variety of reef fish. Access is via a short swim or boat drop to a shallow to mid-depth slope and reef crest, with water conditions generally calm in sheltered bays and moderate currents further offshore. Dives commonly explore ledges and small overhangs hosting species such as parrotfish, wrasses, angelfish and damselfish, along with occasional sea turtles and rays depending on conditions. The site is suitable for certified divers; drift conditions can occur with tides and local wind. Nearby towns provide shore access, with multiple dive centers offering boat departures to La Caye des Boucaniers and adjacent reefs.
