Käppala Vraket

Käppala Vraket is a local dive site near the Stockholm archipelago, typically accessed from nearby towns. The site features a shallow to mid-depth wreck dive in brackish to coastal seawater, with straightforward entry and a sheltered area ideal for training and drift dives in calm conditions. Expect a wreck-oriented topography with a mid-sized hull, occasional ribs and debris, and typical Western Baltic species such as cod, flounder, and gobies, plus shy wrasse and ling in rocky sections. Visibility varies with weather and currents but is commonly moderate. This site is well-suited for experienced wreck divers as well as trainees using controlled penetration and follow-the-line techniques under supervision.
