Kalven

Kalven is a coastal dive site presenting shallow to moderate depths typical of Nordic fjord and archipelago environments. Access is easy from nearby fishing towns, with sheltered conditions in calmer weather. The site features rocky bottoms, framed by low-lying reefs and scattered overhangs, suitable for both introductory and more experienced divers depending on the chosen entry. Expect clean visibility in good conditions and a mix of typical temperate marine life such as wrasses, blennies, small groupers on rocky outcrops, and numerous crustaceans. The site is commonly explored as a drift-free, shoreline dive, with straightforward navigation along the rocky contours.
