Kaloa Landing

Kaloa Landing is a shallow coastal site near the town of Koloa. The site sits close to the shoreline with easy access for boat and shore dives. Typical conditions include calmer surface and clear tropical water with moderate to good visibility. The seabed generally slopes from the reef edge toward a sandy bottom, creating a gentle drop-off and several shallow coral ridges that host a mix of hard corals and passively sheltering reef fish. Divers commonly encounter small reef species, schools of damselfish and butterflyfish, plus occasional parrotfish, wrasse and trumpets. The nearby shoreline and reef structure make this a suitable site for beginner to intermediate divers looking for a relaxed dive with straightforward entry and exit. Access is facilitated by nearby beaches and local dive operators from Poipu and Koloa, with quick boat or shore departures.
