Holnis Haken

Holnis-Haken is a shallow coastal dive site along the southern Baltic coast near Glücksburg. The area is characterized by rocky and silty seabed with some patches of sand, typically offering easy shore-access dives for beginners and training dives when sea conditions allow. Visibility is variable, often influenced by tide and wind, and currents are generally mild. Expect a mix of common Baltic species such as small cod, flounder, blenny, gobies and crustaceans in the soft substrates, with occasional schools of small fish around the rocky outcrops. Entry is straightforward from the shore or a nearby rocky jetty; plan dives around local weather and ensure appropriate protection for cold Baltic water temperatures.
