Visibility can vary with tides and weather, commonly ranging from calm to moderate, and currents are usually light to moderate at best. The site commonly hosts typical temperate-water marine life for the region, including small-school fish, wrasses, blennies, gobies, and octopuses, with occasional sight of larger fish closer to structure or on deeper sections. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, and local dive centers frequently organise visits from Numazu and Izu, making it a convenient option for day trips.
