Hafsa Thila

Hafsa Thila is a small reef pinnacle located in Malé Atoll, known for its moderate depth and clear water. The site features a rocky structure rising from deeper water to just below recreational limits, offering a straightforward drift-dive along the outer reef. Expect to see typical Maldivian reef life, including fusiliers, damselfish, snappers, eagle rays on occasion, and healthy hard corals. Currents can vary, so planning for a drift dive with a qualified guide is advised. Access is via boat from local resorts or inhabited islands within easy reach of Maayafushi, Ukulhas and Halaveli hub areas. The site is suitable for experienced divers comfortable with mild current and for those improving buoyancy on a shallow reef.
