Les Anses D'arlet
Grandes Jorasses
Grandes Jorasses is a dive site associated with the island of Martinique. The area near Les Anses-d'Arlet, Les Trois-Îlets and Le Diamant offers coastal reefs and volcanic formations typical of Caribbean marine environments. The site is characterized by shallow reef topography early in the season and natural drop-offs at greater depths, with usual visibility conditions for the region. Expect Caribbean reef fish such as parrotfish, angelfish and snappers, along with scattered coral formations and creole sponge habitats. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, with divers commonly entering from calm beaches or small ramp entries and following gradual ascent and descent along the reef edges. While not a single famous wreck, the area provides varied topography suitable for beginners to intermediate divers seeking a relaxed Caribbean dive with clear water and vibrant life.
