Elbsee

Elbsee is a freshwater dive site located near Solingen, Monheim am Rhein and Langenfeld in Germany. As a spring-fed lake, visibility and conditions are typically variable and shallow areas provide easy entry for beginners, while deeper sections offer more challenging dives for experienced divers. The site is known for its clear water, submerged tree stumps and gentle slopes, making it suitable for training dives, muck macro practice, and drift-style shallow traverses along the drop-offs. Common freshwater species may include local carps and other resident fish. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, with multiple entry points along the lakeshore.
