Director's Bay

Director's Bay is a local recreational dive site near Nieuwpoort and Willemstad. The area offers typical shallow Belgian coast conditions with sandy bottoms and moderate to good visibility depending on weather. It is commonly used for shore entries and short, straightforward dives along a calm profile. Expect marine life typical of Northwest European coastal waters, including small schooling fish, flats of invertebrates, and common shore-dwelling species. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, with divers usually aiming for relaxed dives in the 6–12 meter range. This site is best suited for local divers and training dives rather than a long-range destination.
