Dérivante Gavrinis

Dérivante Gavrinis is a local dive site in a calm coastal area, suitable for short trips from nearby towns. The site is primarily accessed from shore or a small boat launch, with shallow to moderate depths typical of sheltered French Atlantic / Bay of Biscay style coasts. Expect rocky seabeds, minimal current, and clear water in good conditions. The area around Gavrinis features rugged seabed topography and can provide macro to small reef-like habitats with common coastal species, including wrasses, gobies, and blennies, plus occasional crustaceans. This site is best suited for recreational dives with basic to intermediate skills and is often used for short local dives from nearby communities.
