Panglao
Danao Wall
Danao Wall is a shallow-to-mid depth pelagic reef wall offshore Panglao Island, characterized by a vertical drop and a series of overhangs that provide shelter for a range of reef life. The site is typically accessed from Panglao town or nearby Dauis and lies within easy reach of local dive centers. Expect clear water with moderate to good visibility and a steady current that can be enjoyed by trained divers. Common encounters include reef fish such as parrotfish, wrasses, damselfish, and occasional larger fish along the drop-off. As with most walls in the area, the slope transitions into sandy patches and patches of healthy coral gardens. The site is suitable for intermediate-level wall dives, with planning required for stronger currents and depth management.
