Costa Teguise Reef
Costa Teguise Reef is a shallow coastal site on the eastern coast of Lanzarote near Costa Teguise. It typically offers straightforward conditions suitable for entry-level to intermediate divers, with gentle sloping reef formations and sandy patches in between. Expect clear Atlantic waters, moderate visibility, and a mix of hard corals and macro life along the reef edges. Common encounters include parrotfish, damselfish, wrasse, Echinoderms, and occasional larger fish along the drop-offs. Entry is usually from the shore or a calm beach, with surfaced-to-submerged transition to a relaxed swim across a shallow bottom. Conditions vary with tides and wind, so plan for a fairly calm window and local shallow depths.
