North Side

Chinese Wall

Chinese Wall is a wall dive off Cayman’s North Side, typically starting from shallow waters around 6–12 meters and dropping toward deeper features beyond20 meters. The site hugs an underwater cliff that falls away in a dramatic vertical wall, offering dramatic topography, swim-throughs, and plenty of macro and larger reef life along the ledges. Visibility and current conditions vary with season; calmer days provide clear water for downstream exploration along the wall where soft corals, sponges, and a variety of reef fish are common. Access is straightforward from local dive centers in the North Side/North Shore area, with nearby towns such as West Bay and Bodden Town reachable within a short drive for post-dive meals or accommodations. This site suits intermediate divers comfortable with wall depth changes and occasional current, and it’s often noted for its rich biodiversity and scenic drop-offs.
