Chalfont Reef
Chalfont Reef is a local Atlantic reef site near Palm Beach County, commonly accessed from Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, or Lighthouse Point. The site typically features shallow to moderate depths suitable for recreational divers, with a mix of coral formations, reef slopes, and sandy patches. Expect typical Caribbean-Atlantic reef life such as groupers, snappers, moray eels, secretary blennies, parrotfish, and reef-dish species. Conditions are usually calm to moderate with visibility varying seasonally; currents are generally mild but can pick up with tides.
