Castle Wall

Castle Wall is a shallow to mid-depth coastal reef wall site that drops from the edge of the reef to deeper ledges. Entry is typically from a sandy or gently sloping shore and a short acclimation swim leads to a sheer face peppered with overhangs and crevices. The wall supports easy navigation along platforms and swim-throughs, with opportunities to observe typical Caribbean- or Western Atlantic-style reef life depending on location, including groupers, snappers, parrotfish, moray eels, and a variety of reef invertebrates. Visibility is often good in calm conditions, with water temperatures ranging in the tropical to subtropical spectrum. Currents can be variable; plan for drift or anchored dives when conditions are stronger. This site is suitable for experienced open-water divers or those with a bit of wall diving experience, and is commonly visited from nearby towns such as West Bay or Bodden Town, with quick access from the shore or local dive centers.
