Caball Bernat

Caball Bernat is a small Mediterranean dive site off the coast near Banyuls-sur-Mer. The site is accessed from the shore and typically features a gently sloping seabed with rocky reef formations and a mix of mediterranean fauna. Expect clear to moderate visibility, with typical Western Mediterranean species such as groupers, comber, octopus, moray eels, and various wrasses around rocky outcrops and nearby seagrass meadows. Entry is straightforward from a local beach/peninsular approach, with currents generally mild to moderate depending on conditions. The site is suitable for recreational divers with basic to intermediate skills and offers a calm environment for practicing buoyancy and navigation near shallow to mid-depth shelves.
