Bouveret Rive Bleue
Bouveret Rive Bleue is a lakeside dive site on Lake Geneva's Swiss side, accessible from the towns along the Corniche area. It features a shallow shore entry with gradual depth gains toward open water, suited to recreational diving and beginner‑friendly explorations. The site lies close to popular resort towns, making access straightforward for local divers from nearby Port-Valais, Saint-Gingolph and Vouvry. Expect clear freshwater visibility typical of lake dives, with variations by weather and seasons. Underwater scenery includes rocky substrates, submerged reeds, and occasional sunken debris or man-made structures that attract small terrestrial and aquatic life. Common freshwater species such as perch, pike, and various whitefish can be observed, along with carp and cyprinids in calmer bays. As with all lake dives, buoyancy control and awareness of boats on the surface are important; plan for modest depths and mintain safe ascent profiles.
