Boulders

Boulders is a shallow, coastal dive site near Hollywood, with nearby access from Dania Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The site features a series of submerged rock formations and grooved boulders that create varied topography from about 5 to 15 meters, depending on current and tide. Typical conditions include calm to moderate seas with good visibility on clear days. Expect marine life common to the Southeast Florida area, such as reef fish, snappers, parrotfish, moray eels, and small rays around the rocky outcrops. The exposure is generally straightforward for open-water or shallow-water divers, with easy entry and exit from nearby beaches or public access points. As a local, non-private site, it’s commonly visited by recreational divers and training dives from nearby dive centers.
