Black Forest

Black Forest is a shallow, shelf-edge dive site near Grand Cayman’s west coast. The site typically features rocky limestone formations with easy entries from shore or a short boat transfer, and swim-throughs along a gentle bottom. Depths are generally shallow, making it suitable for beginners or practice dives when conditions allow. Expect mild to moderate currents and good visibility on clear days. The area supports a variety of Western Caribbean reef life, including colorful reef fish, parrotfish, angelfish, and occasional small groupers, with healthy hard corals and encrusting sponges typical of Caribbean dive sites.
