Arrifes Claire

Arrifes-Claire is a coastal dive site in the Algarve, Portugal, located near Albufeira. The site features a sloping rocky seabed and several shallow reef blocks, typically dived in calm conditions between 5 and 20 meters. Access is straightforward from the shoreline or a local boat drop, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Expect flourishing temperate marine life typical of the region, including small groupers, sea bass, wrasse, and octopus, with sea fans and gorgonians on the rocky outcrops. Visibility is variable but usually good in summer and spring, with clearer water offshore. Currents can be mild to moderate depending on tides. The site lies within easy reach of nearby towns such as Albufeira and Armação de Pêra, and is commonly paired with local cen­tres for guided dives.
