Army Tower

Army Tower is a shallow- to mid-depth offshore reef dive site near Savudrija along the Istrian coast. The site comprises a submerged structure known locally as an old coastal defense tower that now forms a vertical relief from about 6 to 18 meters, with a gradual slope nearby. Depending on conditions, divers may explore surrounding rocky outcrops and short swim-throughs around the tower. The area is typically clear with moderate visibility and mild currents; buoyancy and safety awareness are important near the concrete remains. Common Western Adriatic fauna include wrasses, damselfish, gobies, and octopus, with posidonia meadows in the vicinity. Access is straightforward from the coast, with nearby towns Savudrija, Crveni Vrh and Portorož offering diving centers and local services.
