Anse De La Mouche
Anse de la mouche is a local dive site near Anse Louis and Baie Lazare, along the Seychelles’ northwest coast. The site lies in shallow to mid-depth water with typical conditions for this tropical Indian Ocean region. Divers can expect clear warm seas and visibility commonly ranging from good to excellent, with a gentle slope and rock and coral formations typical of inner coral reef habitats. The area is used mainly by local divers and training groups; access is straightforward from nearby villages, and nearby dive centers in Anse Louis, Barbarons and Baie Lazare provide equipment rental and guided excursions. Marine life commonly found in this area includes small reef fishes, damselfish, angelfish, wrasses, moray eels, and occasional reef sharks or turtles, depending on currents and season.
