Ammoudi Beach Kreta

Ammoudi Beach in Crete is a sheltered, sandy-meadow shoreline typical of the southern coast near Damnoni and Plakias. The site offers easy-water access with shallow entry and gentle conditions suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Underwater you’ll find a mix of sandy patches and scattered rocky outcrops, often hosting small fish, wrasse and blennies. Visibility is usually fair to good in calm conditions, with water temperatures typical of the Mediterranean. This is primarily a relaxed training or drift-friendly shore dive along a calm beachbreak, rather than a deep or structurally complex site.
