Østerby

Østerby is a small coastal town in northern Denmark. It sits near the Kattegat with access to the North Atlantic fringe and local beaches. The area is more of a regional stop than a major diving hub. Nearby dive activity is limited; the town itself has a single dive center, and nearby sites along the coast offer basic coastal diving and in-water training opportunities depending on sea conditions. Freshwater options are extremely limited here, with only a nearby river system used occasionally for training trips by clubs. For divers visiting the region, it's best as a gateway access point to broader North Jutland diving or a base for day trips to more prominent Danish dive sites along the Kattegat and North Sea coast.
