Savar

Savar is not a coastal city and has limited diving relevance. It sits inland in Croatia’s Zadar County, while the nearby Adriatic coast offers the country’s main dive opportunities. The river Maas listed as freshwater source is not in Croatia (the Maas runs through the Netherlands/Belgium), so there is no known freshwater diving link in Savar itself. If you’re planning a dive trip, use Savar as a travel hub for regional access to coastal sites along the Adriatic and for administrative base, but expect to base your diving activities on the coast or nearby freshwater training sites outside the city.
