The Cayman Islands are a Caribbean scuba destination centered on Grand Cayman, plus quieter diving on Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. Most diving is in salt water (Caribbean Sea / North Atlantic influence), with year-round warm temperatures and typically good visibility when conditions are calm. On Grand Cayman, many popular sites are around George Town, West Bay, and the North Side, where divers commonly find clear walls and drop-offs, sandy channels, and coral reefs with turtles, reef fish, and rays. Drift diving is possible on some locations, so buoyancy control and a dive plan matter. The Sister Islands are best known for more dramatic vertical profiles and a calmer atmosphere, with wrecks and other offshore features depending on the site. Overall, it’s a strong destination for experienced divers and also for guided fun dives from shore and from boats.
