Uvita

Uvita is a small town on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, known more for its beaches, whale watching, and biodiversity than for scuba diving. With only a couple of dive centers nearby and limited direct access to offshore reefs, the area is suited to day trips from coastal towns or as a base for wildlife excursions rather than a prime scuba destination. Freshwater options aren’t a feature of the city itself, and local diving opportunities are modest, focusing mainly on beginner-friendly training or occasional shore dives near the coastline when conditions permit.
