Tempate

Tempate is a small coastal town in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region, serving mainly as a gateway for visitors exploring nearby dive sites along the Nicoya Peninsula. The area offers a handful of dive centers that cater to visiting divers, with access to offshore reefs and local recreational dives. As a landfall city with limited diving-specific facilities, the city’s dive activity is modest and better served by day trips from nearby coastal towns or by staying with a local dive center along the coast.
