Choapa

Choapa is a coastal administrative region in northern Chile, part of the Coquimbo area. The region’s diving relevance is limited to small, nearshore sites along the Pacific coast, with access mainly from the nearby coastal towns. Given its geography and current dive infrastructure, it offers basic, shallow experiences rather than established, high-profile dive destinations. Marine visibility is influenced by seasonal upwellings, and local dive activity centers around a single operator serving nearby Pichidangui and surrounding coastline.
