Penticton is a city in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, not a coastal diving destination. The nearby natural allure is mostly freshwater lakes and scenic landscapes. There are no local saltwater dive centers, and the city itself serves more as an access point for inland water sports and freshwater diving opportunities further afield, such as quarry or lake dive sites within the region. If you’re after diving, plan trips to nearby freshwater sites or other parts of British Columbia with established dive centers.
