Rumst

Rumst is a small town in northern Belgium, located inland along the Rupel River near Antwerp. It is not a coastal diving hub, and diving options are limited locally. The nearby maritime access is the North Sea, which is reachable for day trips from the broader Antwerp region. In Rumst and the surrounding area, freshwater diving is possible in nearby lakes and quarries outside the city, but these are not within Rumst itself. Most divers visiting the area typically base themselves in larger coastal cities along the Belgian coast or in the Antwerp metropolitan area to access dive centers and offshore dive sites. In the immediate area, there are a few local divers and clubs that offer entry-level trainings and pool sessions.
