Spittal An Der Drau

Spittal an der Drau is a town in eastern Austria, inland far from the sea. It isn’t a diving destination itself, and nearby diving options are very limited. The city can serve as a base for exploring regional freshwater or quarry dives in the broader area if you’re willing to travel, but there are no local saltwater dive sites or major diving centers in town. Expect basic training and local facilities only if you visit a nearby centre elsewhere in Carinthia or nearby countries.
