Nearby dive centers and reputable dive sites are more accessible from coastal towns; within Brisbane, diving activity is limited, with training and equipment services concentrated in the metro area. For divers, the appeal lies in easy access to day trips to reefs, wrecks, and clear-water sites along the eastern Queensland coast, as well as regional freshwater training options further afield.
